Each year, the Maricopa County Library District holds more than 6,700 free events and programs for all ages. We run a summer reading program for more than 82,000 adults and children. Materials in our collection circulated nearly 10 million times in 2018. We offer wonderful free, learning and research opportunities online. Our goal is to inspire curiosity, to encourage the discovery and exploration of new worlds, and to help all Maricopa County residents re-engage with their community. For Maricopa County and Town Of Queen Creek residents and property owners, a library card is free.
