Each library has a limited supply of kits, and they will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. If the kits are out of stock in your library, please try back at a later date. Thank you for your patience as we work quickly to replenish kits to meet demand.

MCLD and Maricopa County Department of Public Health are partnering to offer free BinaxNOW kits at all 18 MCLD libraries. The BinaxNOW COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test is a self-administered nasal swab test to detect COVID-19 infection.

About BinaxNOW:

  • BinaxNOW is an antigen test that only detects an active infection
  • The test provides rapid results in 15 minutes
  • Each BINAXNow kit includes two self-administered nasal swab tests

BinaxNOW kits are available through Curbside Pickup only from one of the County’s 18 libraries. When you arrive, please park in a designated parking spot and call the number listed on the sign. Based on demand, customers may be limited to one test kit (2 tests) per interaction. You do not need a library card to pick up a kit, but you will need to provide your ZIP code.

If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the library. Instead, we ask that you use Curbside or Walk-Up Pickup. If you are able to, please send an unexposed friend or family member to pick up the kit on your behalf. You do not need a library card to pick up a kit.

This is a pilot program made available to MCLD through a partnership with Maricopa County Department of Public Health. BinaxNOW kits are currently available at Maricopa County Library District branches ONLY.
