It includes coverage of the U.S. and the U.K., plus record collections from Canada and other areas.  It contains more than 4,000 databases.  The overall dates of coverage are 1300 to the present. Available within the library only due to licensing issues. Connect with your past and discover your family's history with this collection from the Gale Virtual Reference Library. HeritageQuest Online - This is a collection of material for both genealogical hobbyists and professionals with coverage dating back to the late 1700s.  You can search for family names and localities to find ancestors, trace their paths across America, and learn what life was like in the areas where they settled.   Included are nearly 8,000 family histories, 12,000+ local histories, more than 250 primary source documents (tax lists, city directories, probate records, etc.), over 25,000 titles (ex.: Periodical Source Index [PSI], Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Application Files, Freedman Bank Records ), important resources for African-American genealogical research, plus more than 20 million images (digital, searchable images of U.S. federal census records (1790 to 1930).
