Library will Reopen on February 25 with Limited Services through May 2019

PHOENIX, Arizona — Feb. 5, 2019 — Maricopa County Library District’s Ed Robson Library, located in Sun Lakes, will be closed for renovations from Monday, February 11 through Monday, February 25. Upon reopening, library hours will remain the same (Monday – Saturday, 9:00am – 5:00pm; closed Sundays). The public will be able to access limited services, collections, and programs in the adjacent space while renovations are completed on the main part of the library through May.

During the renovations, there will be no access to public computers or the Friends bookstore. The Recorder’s Kiosk will also be unavailable. For information on how to record documents digitally, visit https://recorder.maricopa.gov/recorder/digitalrecording.aspx. All services will be available upon completion of this phase of renovation in May.

“We are excited about the opportunity to update the Ed Robson Library to even better serve the community,” said County Librarian Cindy Kolaczynski. “When the library reopens, it will offer a more intuitive layout and plenty of available space for collections and programming.”

Updates about the project will be emailed to subscribers of the Ed Robson Library email list; to sign up, visit https://apps.mcldaz.org/subscribe?list=1.
