A photo ID and proof of current local address are needed to get a library card. There is no charge for Maricopa County residents to get a card. Noncounty residents can get a card for $40 annually, or $5 per month for a computer-use-only card.
County residents can register for a library card online. This will provide access to our electronic resources through our website. Cards can be picked up at your local branch. Remember to bring a photo ID and proof of address. Register Now.

Personal Computers
Personal computers are available for customer use in all branch and regional libraries. A library card is required for computer use. Customers can reserve a computer ahead of time through our Computer Reservation System. All computers have standard word processing and other common programs installed. There is a charge per page for printing. Wi-Fi is available to the public in the following branches - Fountain Hills, Southeast Regional, Northwest Regional, North Valley Regional, Perry, Civic Center, Litchfield Park and George Campbell. Wi-Fi also requires a library card.
Programs and Events
The library's calendar of events lists all the programs sponsored by the Adult and Youth Service areas at all the District libraries. You may browse programs and events scheduled for this month or search for future events. Some of the events and programs
are: story time for children, book discussion groups for Adults,
and numerous programs on various topics for all ages. Programs
are free but may require registration.
Special Needs
Customers who require help locating, using, or interpreting library materials may call the Maricopa County District's Libraries at 602.652.3000 during regular hours of operation to request assistance from Library staff. The library staff is pleased to assist in speeding checkouts or any other reasonable way to make your visit comfortable. Sign language interpretation is available upon advance notice.
