Whether you want to search for a job, investigate a specific career, uncover what careers you might be well suited for, prep for a specific test or certification or brush up on your interpersonal or technical skills, MCLD has you covered! Career Transitions

Offers resume and cover letter assistance along with tips and advice for managing and renewing your career. You can even prepare for job interviews with an interview simulator.


ReferenceUSA

Research and access to more than 20 million businesses along with corporate analysis. With 2.5 million job postings, you can find a new job with mapping tools and enhanced business profiles.

LearningExpress

Adult continuing education from basic skills to college prep. Expand your career, study for the GED, improve your computer skills or even study for the United States Citizenship Exam.

Gale Courses

Go here and search for the word “job” to uncover several pages of six week online courses that job seekers can take to improve their skills. Examples include “Twelve Steps to a Successful Job search”, “Jump Start Your Career” and a variety of basic skill and career path specific courses.

Testing & Education Reference Center

Test preparation for entrance, certification and professional license exams. Information on careers, colleges, technical schools and executive programs.

Indeed.com: Currently the largest job listing site.

Khan Academy: Hosts free, online courses in math, science, economics, humanities, computers, and cryptography. It also has test prep and help for SAT, MCAT, NCLEX-RN, GMAT, and others.

LearnFree.org: Learn a huge variety of life and workplace skills.

LinkedIn: Currently the largest professional network in the Internet. Post resumes and portfolios, connect with other professionals and network.
