The Queen Creek Library, located at the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Ocotillo roads, opened in November 2008. The library is designed to provide a gathering place for people of all ages. It includes the Mary Lou Fulton Children's Center, a Teen Oasis, general reading areas, public computers, study rooms, conference rooms and Town recreation programming space.
The Queen Creek Library is part of the Maricopa County Library
District (MCLD). Any residents and/or property owners in the
Maricopa County portion of Queen Creek can get a free library card.
However, since MCLD is funded by property tax, the free card is not
available to non-Maricopa County residents. As such, residents of
the Pinal County portion of Queen Creek must pay a fee of $50 a year
(or $25 for six months) to get a Maricopa County card. If you have
questions about this or any MCLD policy, don’t hesitate to contact
us online or at 602-652-3000.
The Queen Creek Library has several other Maricopa County Library District libraries nearby.
